Terms of Service
Effective 2026-05-08
These terms govern your use of the Transcenda Voice mobile and web applications (the “App”). The App is a thin client to your employer's telephony tenant on Transcenda's platform. By installing or using the App you agree to these terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Account and access
You access the App through an invitation issued by your tenant admin. Your tenant's subscription with Transcenda governs licensing, seat counts, and minute quotas. Your individual access can be revoked by your tenant admin at any time.
2. Acceptable use
You will not use the App to: place unsolicited bulk calls (robocalls), spoof caller ID in violation of local law, harass any person, attempt to defeat call recording disclosure laws, or attempt to dial emergency services from a softphone where reliable E911 service is required by law. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.
3. Telecom & emergency calls
The App is a softphone, not a substitute for a registered phone line. It cannot reliably place emergency calls (911 / 999 / 112). Use your device's native dialer or a registered analog line for emergencies. Your tenant may disable emergency dialing entirely.
4. Recordings and consent
If your tenant has enabled call recording, the App will play an in-band notice at the start of each recorded call. You are responsible for compliance with two-party-consent jurisdictions (CA, FL, IL, MD, MA, NH, PA, WA, EU member states, and others).
5. Plans, billing, and changes
Plans are purchased and billed by your tenant directly through Transcenda License Server, not in-app. PSTN minutes incur per-region carrier fees that pass through. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; existing committed terms are honored to end of term.
6. Termination
You may terminate your individual account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete my account, or via /account-deletion. Your tenant admin may terminate your access without notice. We may suspend the App for any account in material breach of these terms or the AUP.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The App is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transcenda disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Voice quality depends on your network and is not guaranteed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transcenda's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms is limited to the lesser of (a) USD 100 or (b) the fees your tenant paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Dubai, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your residence apply.
